Anugerah Cemerlang 08

Feeling really sleepy since woke up at around 6.15 a.m. for Qing Ming. Somemore I had to go back to my former alma mater for the Hari Anugerah Cemerlang. When I reach the school, I met my scout juniors. They were surprised to see me and ask me what was I doing here? I told them that I was going for the prize presentaton but then they ask what award. When I finally told them they ask me how many As I get. Imagine having to answer so many questions.

Waited for my friend to arrive and then proceed to the Arena Wira. The PIBG AGM was still going on. Feng and I quietly walk out from the Arena and went to our former class room, 5 Sc 1. There we saw that all the school prize winners were gather there( excluding the ex Form 5 and 6 students) , Xiao-Ly was also there. But the was surprising one was that Ms. Sharon was also there!! Ah!! I wanted to run away as I know what would be her 1st question. But still I rather faced it than continuing to run from it. My prediction was 100 % accurate. Her question was ' What did you get for EST?' Haha, I told her that I managed to get a B3, she was really unsatisfied as I think she expected me to get an A1. Haiz, soon it got bored so feng and I sneaked out of the classroom and went to the canteen.

As we were walking there we met Nadiah (11A1 GIRL!!) , we joked about her banner. (The school PIBG I think had ordered a banner congratulating her. Her picture was on the banner). Also we met Ming and Yeh Fong. Together we went to see Ms.Sharon as the other 3 haven't seen her yet. It was only like 15 minutes ago she ask me the questions but 15 minutes later she again ask the same question. She was beginning to enjoyed asking this particular question. Attention all ex 5Sc1 (07) becareful as the 1st question she asked would be 'What did you get for EST?' Haha.

Well to end it all, I receive a plaque, certificate and some $$$ (Not going to disclosed it for personal safety). Nadiah receive the award for the best student( Science) while Yusof receive best student( Art). Weng Kiat got the Principal Award for excelling both in studies and co-curiculum activities.

Poison Gas

This would be short:

Today during chemistry pratical lesson, everything was going fine. I was doing my experiments quickly and the results were correct. Then 30 minutes before the class ended, the lecturer discuss the results with us. While discussing one particular experiment, he mentioned that Nitrogen monoxide gas would be released. Nitrogen monoxide is a brown gas and is very poisonous. Imagine the surprised as we did the experiment without seeing the brown gas so that means most of us actually were poisoned by the gas. I was one of them. Luckily, nothing happened at all since we might had breath in just a tiny amount of the gas.

A pro in the making

Wow! ANDREW... is a pro in bowling. The 1st time I saw someone having the perfect score. In meaning is getting the highest possible score in a single match. He obtained a score of 300/300. That is totally unbelivable. Andrew you can actually be the next top bowler in Malaysia

Prize Presentation World Maths Day

Wow! Today was actually the 1st time I wore a formal wear. Renoma shirt, G2000 Pants, leather show...and it goes on. The reason I had to wear all this is because I had to attend a prize presentation award regarding the recently concluded World Maths Day. When I reach college I felt weird as I was wearing formal while others were in casual wear. I quickly went to LT2 which was where the 1st class of the day is situated. There almost all my classmates were already in their formal wear. Haha, we stood out from the rest of the other classes in the LT2. After Lan I was planning to go to the Web and watch some anime since we were informed that there would be no physics classes for 3days. As soon as I login into the com, HK called and told me that there would be physics classes as usual. I was slightly disappointed as I thought I would have a free 1 hour but still I attended the class =) (me good boy). Well let's skip all to the main story. We gather in LT4 waiting for the people from Australia to enter. There was also another class, 0801PM469. The event went smoothly. Joshua, Aaron, Lucky and a guy from the other class receive some nice prize that the rest of us didn't get as they were in the top 50. 33 people gain an extra cert for being the top 1000 in the world. I was placed 472 in the world and 43 in Malaysia. More than 1 million people took part in the event so I felt proud of being the no.472.

Tsubasa Chronicles Tokyo Relavations

Finally I downloaded all the episodes of the ova. There was a total of 3 episodes each consisting of 30 minutes. The ova is actually about after Syaoraon, Sakura, Kurogane and Fai continues their journey to reacquire Sakura's feathers, the real Syaoraon wakes up. Fai would lose one of his eyes which contains his magical powers. Syaoroan will battle against his clone using magic. Well I can't continue this since I only watched episode 1. 2 more to go.

Taiwan food not that bad

In the Gardens there is actually a Taiwan restaurant that served great food at an afforable price. Fong Lye restaurant is situated 1 level under GSC Signature. The food was splendid. I had the tomato fish with eggs. It came with appetiser, vegetable and a bowl of rice with minced pork. It was quite filling. Other food order was a bowl of noodle( forgotten the name), beef, steamed fish with pineapple and steamboat. The steamboat was quite fun as we get to cook the food by ourself. Since there was some kind of event as long we spent RM 50 and above in a single receipt, we would be a free side-order of some kind of food. It was chewy and sweet...Hmm.. Well dessert was great as there was Taiwan style of Ice Kacang. It was pratically shaved ice with milk, red beans and a large scoop of ice-cream. The other dessert was shaved ice with blended peanut cream with condensed milk. It was absolutely tantalizing.

Changing tyre in the Gardens

Whew...1st time helping out in changing a puncture tyre is hard. Maybe this is becaused there was a lack in experince. My family and I went to the Gardens to have dinner. The car was a bit weird as it kept moving to the left when my father release the stearing. The puncture tyre was discovered after the car was parked. So I stay and help out in changing it. It was hot and stuffy in the carpark. How nice would it be if there was actually air-con down there. It took almost 30 minutes just to change the tyre.

March 22nd

Wake up and discover that I actually overslept. I was planning to go to my former school's sports day. I was supposed to be there around 8am but I woked up at 9pm. But still I went there. When I reach there I found out that my friends already left and went swimming at Danau Idaman. So I hanged out with TCP and the scouts at the school basketball court. It was hot and boring. TCPstarted to converse with the members using his ahem broken mandarin. He was slightly air headed trying to show off his so called perfect mandarin to me. Still I just ignore him.

As it was getting really boring, he and I left the school and went to DDP to have a light lunch. At there I order some super light meal but TCP kept saying that eventhough its light but it contain a lot of calories. To me he is talking a lot of crap. He on the other hand order a bowl of SMALL CURRY MEE. I wanted to tell him that his mee contain even more calories than my meal but I rather not in case he doesn't wan to eat it. I was surprised that he only ate 30% of the meal leaving 70% of it still in the bowl. He say if he eats more he wan become fatter again. Such a waste of food this type of people. Somemore he say after eating so much he wants to go to the toilet to get it all out from his system ( ANOROXIA NERVOSA).

When we went to Danau Idaman, Jason and the rest were still swimming. They were going to be swimming for at least another 1 long hour. Total time they spend in the pool was almost 2 hours. Near the end NCP challanged TWK to a race. They sit in the float and paddle backwards. In the 1st race NCP won but it was the other way around in the 2nd race.

After that together we went to the mamak restaurant opposite the place to have lunch with our ex-classmates and ex-teachers. Only 4 teachers actually show out. The gang of us combined a few tables and sat there for a really long time. Doing this we made the restaurant to lose some income for the day.

After that it was badminton as usual, pawning TCP around in the court. HAHA

The Dota Gang

Why is it that every place I go there would be like a Dota gang near me? Last time in school, there were many dota gang. During my form 5, the Dota gang would be like chatting about the game every single moment. Zeus good at ksing people, crystal maiden, Divine Rapier, Double Kill, all this would be uttered by them every single moment

When I entered college I finally thought that I might be finally free from Dota. However I was unlucky. 50% of my class are DOTA players. Every single free time they will be chatting Dota. Their best spot would be at Autosurf. Every week they would be there Dotaing. Haiz, they ask me to go join them but I declined them every single time. Maybe I should just give up and join the Dota game. Maybe the next time they ask me, I might just go and finally be a Dota addict.

Lan Video =)

Finally we finish filming the irritating video. It took us about 2 months +!! . What the crap!! There was blood, gut, gore, booze and you know what. Haha got cha =). There weren't really all that but that kind of things if happened also can't be put into the final video. It would all be edited away by our director ( in the video he is our ahem... a.k.a Tai Lo).

The 1st few scenes that we took involve the 3 main characters to dash into the lecture theater. The reason they dash was because they were late to class. One of the main character( VSW) had to fall on the stairs. As our director a.k.a Tai Lo wanted the best possible scene, VSW had to fall down the stairs almost 4 times just to get the perfect shot.

Today we film the classroom scene. We had to film a 13 minutes video but only had 11 minutes of filming left. So we actually improvised. We add additional dialog on the spot. Most were interesting but there was a lot of rubbish dialog. For example:

Why is it snowing in P.J?
Oh let me explain, you see the sky is blue in colour...
*this is where it doesn't make sense.....*
I thought the sky was purple.
No it is actually blue
Oh, I didn't know the sky is blue in colour!

That was a part that I could actually remember. A kindergarden kid would know that even the sky is blue in colour.

The final scene that I was involve in was the car-pooling. We gather outside AC and board JW's car. We were planning to fit 11 people into his Toyota Vios, but there was room for 6 people. While filming it, we cause a traffic jam. Another car wanted his parking lot and was waiting. As this was a 1 lane street, that car blocked the other cars causing a massive traffic jam. Well to end it, JW drove the 6 people with him to Autosurf ( a cybercafe xD) while I went home. In the cyber cafe they would film an animated fire by playing Command & Conquer Generals. Along the way the rest who follow would have a non-stop round of Dota. This coming Monday I would be forced to hear them talking about Dota all the time for the whole week till they go Dota again and all this will repeat all the time till i finish A-lvls. AH!!!!!

Another Week

Look's like a week has just gone by. In a week many things have occur. The Spm results was out on wednesday. There were cries of joy and sadness. I managed to score A1 and 1 A2 in the subjects that I'm studying in at the moment. The rest of the As comes from the now so called useless subjects. After studying BM for almost my entire school life I finally can bid goodbye to that subject. With the number of As I had, I only managed to fit in the category 5 of my college's scholorship. I only obtained RM 1K. That's is consider little compare to other colleges. Well there is nothing I can do about my results at the moment. The only way now is to focus on my studies and obtained good grades in my AS level examination this coming october.

0801PE4 World Maths Day Champion continue...

I think its better if I wrote everything. Well to begin most people would target at least 1k to qualify for the cert. For me that was my initial target. On the 1st day I wanted to play but couldn't managed to access the game due to the amount of people playing. This is because WMD is an international event every single person in the world could compete. I would be facing opponents from any part of the world be it the US, Australia, NZ, China, Singapore or Thailand. When I went to college the next day, I was one of those who didn't play yet. People like Lucky, Joshua and Andrew were already a few thousand ahead than most of us. Lucky Mr. Lai booked the CL2 for us to play. In that 1 hour I managed to meet my target of 1k.

Overall we won the competition with a score of 299, 708 . We were a bit sad for not getting 300k which was the target set by our lecturer. Joshua managed to get the 11th place. Too bad for him as his target was to be one of the top 10. He was the only one who was so determined. He was also the only one who was still fresh after playing for 7 hours while the rest were getting tired. Still the best part was the top two classes in the world was 0801PE4 and another PM class from taylor also. We sweep all =)

Blaming

Argh!! Seng Wai, why didn't you call me to play? If I actually play we might succeed in getting 300k. The final I rest. Haiz, regretted resting. Brain was aching. You should had forced me to play.

World Maths Day

Yes finally World Maths Day (WMD) is over. My class 0801PE4 emerged as the no.1 rank class in the world for WMD. I managed to contribute 9k+ correct answers. We managed to won with correct answers close to 300k. Our nearest compertitor was another Taylor class which was around 90k+ behind us. Every single person slogs it out during the whole day ( I played for at least 7hrs while some people played 4X what I play).

X-ray

In physic class I learn that X- ray vision is about releasing high amount of radioactive substance to ionise. There should be a transmitter and a receiver. How could Superman have X- ray vision? Superman might be the transmitter but who would be the receiver? Superman can travel faster than a bullet but that would be slower than the speed of light.

Finally...

Finally I got the chance to watch one of the anime I wanted to watch for so long. The anime I'm talking about is Kyo Kara Maoh (God(?) Save Our King. It was shown on Animax but only up to episode 50. There is 28 episode more. Currently I'm watching it on Veoh.com.

I know most of you would say it is a gay show but the plot is fun. Its fun to see Yuri changing into the Maoh. Always fighting in the name of justice.

Thanks to veoh.com, I can finally watch all the anime that I wanted to watch.

What age?

At a age of 18, what actually is your main priority? To me it would be focusing on my studies. But its really hard. The reasons? The air-con is damn cold. Some classes are super cold. My hands would be shaking and it would be hard to concentrate. Well back to the topic. What is your main priority at the age of 18? Would it be studies, girls or something else? One of my friends who prefer to be anonymous is already slightly interested in politics. 18 years old ----politics. Interesting.

My funny friend

I have this friend who wrote something funny in his blog. He prefer to be anonymous so let's call him, Mr CP. In his blog, he wrote that a shopping mall nearby his college almost got burnt down. This can actually happen if someone uses high explosive materials or just start a large fire inside the mall or through someother methods which would really cause a huge fire. But he said the shopping mall almost got burnt down because someone threw a lighter cigaratte into a dustbin. The dustbin caught fire.

Let me ask you, would that actually burnt down a shopping mall? (Let's assume the dustbin is placed outside the shopping mall)

Give up??

Entering the 3rd month of college. The workload is increasing. The notes are getting thicker everyday. Time spend on gaming is decreasing. This is only the 3rd month and all this are happening. I wonder what would it be like in another 5 months. Would I have to give up gaming?

Think Again...

Wow! Everyday the pressure is increasing. Nope, I'm not talking about atmospheric pressure but I'm talking about the exam/test pressure. Every week there would be at least a test. 3 weeks ago was Thinking Skills test. Last week was Chemistry test. This week was Further Maths (Mechanics) and Thinking Skills again!. This coming week would be Maths test. See, the pressure I face every week. Who say A-lvl wouldn't have a lot of pressure throughout the whole year? Somemore this is going to continue for about another 16 months.
